We had ramen with black garlic, a chicken bento box, and a few starters — everything was absolutely delicious! The ramen was rich and full of flavor, the chicken perfectly cooked, and every dish was presented beautifully. Great service and cozy atmosphere too. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

Why haven't I been here sooner! The food was so fresh & flavourful, ever dish was so tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful, highly recommend Mizumi, the prices are very reasonable too & meal sizes are very generous, will definitely be back

Absolutely delicious food, and by far the best Japanese food in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the speed of service, and the delicate preparation of each dish. We tried several dishes and each choice was incredible. A must have, and we will be quick to return again.

Really great fresh sushi, sashimi and other Japanese options like udon, bento boxes and curry. Fresh wasabi was a bonus! Order on iPad if sitting in but paper menus with pictures available. Large menu with hot, cold options and takeaway options prepped to go. Good selection of Japanese drinks and beer. Would definitely return! Service as expected for a sit in casual place! Cashier and servers friendly!

Absolutely delicious. I would say this place does the some of the best Japanese food in Newcastle region. The sashimi platter was loaded with very thick cuts of sashimi and oysters. The dragon rolls were a highlight and at first I was iffy with them using cheese in the rolls but after eating it the cheese actually elevated the flavour. Absolutely loved the chicken stir fry Udon which was a bit sour, sweet and saucy. Salmon and grilled scollop nigiri were delicious too. Will absolutely recommend any Japanese food lovers to come here. Only negative is it's a little bit out of the way and you may need to make a reservation because tables may be a bit scarce as the restaurant is quite tight.

Amazing cozy Japanese restaurant! Delicious and large udons which were great value. Friendly and good service. Will definitely consider returning here next time I'm in the area.
